to Rip DVDs in the UK?
It’s illegal to rip DVDs for commercial
use in the UK, according to its DVD copyright laws. "Educational or
private study use is generally permitted under law in any case, but you may
want to allow copying for private use but not for commercial gain", stated
in UK Copyright Law last amended on 6th February 2017, which means it's legal
to rip DVDs you legally purchased for personal use. However, it's unlawful to
copy DVDs for unauthorized sharing or distribution.

Copyright Law does not allow to crack DRM and rip or burn DVDs without the

the Librarian of Congress Relating to Section 1201 Rulemaking.

iPad or other devices for playback. In fact, Canada is more restrictive in the
US.

You are not allowed to
make copies of DVDs even you own the DVDs. And it breaks Australia Copyright
law to make any digital copies for convenience or compatibility. Australia has
no "fair use" DVD copyright laws, according to information sheet

illegal in Australia and has criminal penalties.
